Who is responsible

GXnarly is published by PPV Enterprise, Martelarenlaan 161, 3010 Leuven, Belgium. PPV Enterprise is the data controller for this policy and can be reached at info@thesourceworks.com.

What GXnarly collects

Nothing. GXnarly has no sign-up, no user accounts, and no server of our own. We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, device identifiers, or usage statistics. We cannot identify you, and we hold no data about you.

What stays on your device

• Patches and settings. Everything you edit or save is stored locally, in the app's own storage on your device.
• Impulse responses you import. Any .wav files you add stay on your device.
• Deleting the app deletes this data. Removing GXnarly removes its local storage; there is no copy anywhere else. Note that it may still be present in your own device backups, which you control.

Your BOSS device

GXnarly talks to your connected BOSS GX-10 / GX-100 over USB-MIDI, across the cable. This communication is entirely local to your device and the pedal. Your patches are not transmitted to us or to anyone else as part of editing.

Optional online features

GXnarly can browse and download content from two independent services. Both are opt-in and download-only: GXnarly does not upload or publish your patches to either one. If you never open these features, your device never contacts them.

• BOSS TONE EXCHANGE — for downloading patches. Operated by Roland Corporation, not by PPV Enterprise. Downloading may require you to sign in with your own existing Roland Account. See Roland's privacy statement.
• TONE3000 — for browsing and downloading impulse response cabinets. Operated by Hot, Inc. (doing business as TONE3000), not by PPV Enterprise. Downloading may require you to sign in with your own existing TONE3000 account. See the TONE3000 privacy policy.

Two things are worth being precise about:

• We never see your password. Signing in happens on the provider's own web page, shown inside the app. GXnarly does not read, receive, or store your credentials — only the resulting session token, which is kept on your device so you don't have to sign in repeatedly. You can sign out at any time.
• Your device contacts them directly. When you use these features, the request goes from your device to that service, so it receives what any web request reveals — including your IP address and the time of the request — and handles it under its own privacy policy. PPV Enterprise is not a party to that exchange and receives no data from it.

Data retention and deletion

Because we collect nothing, we have nothing to retain and nothing to delete on your behalf, and there is no data for us to correct, export, or restrict. To remove GXnarly's local data, delete the app. For anything held under your Roland Account or your TONE3000 account, contact that service directly — those accounts are yours, and each provider handles its own deletion requests.

Children

GXnarly is not directed at children, and it collects no personal data from users of any age.

This website

thesourceworks.com is a static site. It sets no tracking cookies, runs no third-party analytics, and does not profile visitors. The contact form on the About page does not submit anything to a server — it simply opens your own email app with a message addressed to us, so you decide whether to send it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date above. Material changes affecting how data is handled will be reflected here before they take effect in the app.
